Pros

Can expect work-life balance, if you can find a good PI/lab in TLL. Meanwhile, NTU/NUS provide much better and open environment for research

Cons

The HR couldn't care less about employee's benefits or well-being. Sometimes they can be quite manipulative. Be careful when dealing with them! Management has become too powerful, sometimes can be irresponsive and rude.

Freedom of research and 24days of leave per year.

Cons

Underpaid, old building and equipment. More HR than researchers

Pros

Generally your PI and Fellow researcher are helpful

Cons

The benefit is minimal. The facility is old, the equipment and the admin/management structure is from the previous century. Unless your lab has collaboration elsewhere, don;t count on to the equipment and facility support here, especially the facility support, they will just say no.
