ship sank in hurricane Joaquin, check USCG findings for faults, mostly the company's schedule and pressure. Office personnel aren't really top of the line. the ships are in port twice a week and apparently can't get replacement parts or safety gear, which is an issue with purchasing and ship management. Crewing personnel are blatantly incompetent and play favorites There's an ethics policy however it seems like a lot of backdoor dealing and cronyism still occurs. There's a lot of contractors and personnel who are friends of one of the directors who get huge contracts to do little to nothing.

Team is mostly dead. Lots of long-term employees not selected for new ships to replace lost ship. No internet on ship. No phone on ship, just personal cell phone twice a week when in port and not working insane hours. Bridge was tiny. Ship was literally rusting through everywhere. Limited maintenance support. Pay was low compared to many commercial ships, and even compared to other ships in the company!
