Pros
Talon. One operates as a startup, and this means there is a tremendous sense of ownership among individuals. The company encourages employees to take initiative, be proactive, and contribute to the growth of the organization. This sense of responsibility can be incredibly motivating and provides opportunities for personal and professional development.
Cons
Unfortunately, the hiring process at Talon. One isn't up to par. There have been instances where individuals have been hired without demonstrating their ability to contribute effectively to the team. This has resulted in some team members who do not pull their weight and exhibit unprofessional behavior. It is disheartening to witness this lack of accountability within the company. Lack of Scalability: While the manager often presents themselves as empathetic, there is a noticeable lack of scalability in their approach. Employees are expected to drive sales without sufficient support or resources, which can be overwhelming and hinder overall team performance. This lack of foresight in planning for growth and providing adequate resources can be frustrating for employees. Lack of Empathy: Another concern I had during my time at Talon. One was the behavior of some managers. They often displayed rudeness and a lack of empathy towards employees. This kind of behavior can create a toxic work environment and adversely affect team morale. It is important for managers to demonstrate empathy and understanding, as it contributes to a more positive and productive workplace culture.
