Pros
Tech Soft 3D really sees fun as a core value. This means the occasional ski day, rafting trip, sporting event, fishing trip, a keg in the office and lots of small fun events. TS3D seems to really value life/work balance. This is very important to me and one of the key factors in sticking with TS3D as long as I have. We are small enough to be nimble yet big enough to be stable and survive the market ups and downs. Compensation is good for my location. But again, I value the time off, sabbaticals and quality of life focus more than the pay. Yes you heard me right, in the US we get a paid 6-week sabbatical every 4 years! It's a very cool job perk! Management has a very reasonable approach to things like expenses, taking care of employees, being flexible, etc. They make it very easy to stick around.
Cons
Historically not much upwards growth opportunities due to the smaller company size and broad company structure. This is slowly changing for the better as we grow. 100 employees spread over 7 offices and lots of remote workers do make communication a challenge at times. But getting to visit those other offices around the world makes up for it.
