Pros

Terminal49 has been far and away the best company i've worked at. Every day we're solving very real world logistics problems for our customers. The leadership is transparent, everyone pulls together as a team, and every team member is given ownership of their work. Speaking of the team, this is one of the few places i've worked where I like working with everyone and everyone here brings their best. It really makes it more enjoyable to 'come in' to work every day. Working remotely and being evaluated on the output means enjoying a lot of flexibility with arranging home life day to day. Revenue, customer count, and container volume are all growing and there is good energy to keep it up.

Cons

It's a startup, there's a lot of that larger company process which is still being worked out and not there yet. I would not recommend Terminal49 if you're not comfortable taking initiative to make progress whenever necessary.

Pros

I love the culture of trust and ownership. Each person on the team has a lot of autonomy, and people work together in a collaborative way. Product market fit means this company has a long lifespan ahead of it.

Cons

It’s a small team doing a lot of things, so the to do list is never quite complete

Solid start-up

Pros

There's a great start-up vibe, with a growing team of skilled & smart people focused on improving the product. It's fully remote, making it a great opportunity for international talent. It is a very international team already. Modern tech is used, with good practical cloud-based tools. A good part of the work is async and flexible. They regularly review their processes and ask for feedback to improve them.

Cons

The start-up aspect means things are not always quite established yet and can be a bit messy, but I think that's to be expected. And it means there's room as an employee to provide value by working on improvements.
