Crazy Russian startup when nobody cares about you work/life ballanse
Pros
- Robust developing cycle - Fully remote - Chance to work on production Electron app - Free laptop
Cons
- They firing people in one day, without noticing in advance, so if they don't like you in the first place, you're gonna be working until they decided to drop you one day. - No work/life balance, they force you to dig into weird bugs from the first day, expecting you to finish it quickly - Need quite a lot of time to understand how project structured and how all pieces tight up together, you never saw a React project structured like this, I assure you. - Crazy fast development cycle, when each particular day you should prepare video demonstration of the work you've done for today as well as prepare demo build and docs. - No bug or feature is documented properly, every ticket you take you'll need to do investigation before going to work on it. The most crazy part, I've never seen something like this before - No management, or QA support, developer is responsible for everything on the project: - Create and lead Jira board for your features - Leading designer, PM - Organize all related meetings - Write QA checklists and do manual test cases - Do risk assessments - Don't forget to check others PR in the mean time ( should be reviewed in the first day it's opened) So basically you're gonna do work for 3 people (PM, QA and dev) and you'll be force to do it quickly or they will just fire you.
