Pros

For the most part, very nice people to work with Good employee discount program

Cons

I've worked in stores in several states - no uniform 15 minute break during your shift "because we aren't required by law to provide it in this state" Same for overtime - if you work more than 8 hours, you receive overtime pay in some states, all others they don't pay "because we aren't required by law to in this state." This unequal treatment of employees is not fair and resented by many. Older employees have no chance of advancement because all full time jobs are labor intensive in terms of moving and lifting, so if you aren't able to do heavy work continuously, you aren't promoted. Your past management experiences or people skills do not seem to matter and are not considered for advancement. Wages are not keeping up with competition - Places like Walmart, Amazon and Target are all paying $15-$19 an hour to start, but our average part time employee is around $13 per hour! Company making record profits but wages and 402k contributions are frozen
