      autocratic style and a 'yes-men' culture

      Pros

      job longevity - it is not a performance driven environment. cosy club for friends of the founder. if you toe the line, you will succeed, and not have to work very hard.

      Cons

      challenging ideas counter to the founders wishes are not welcome. the danger of career atrophy exists, and so you need a strong plan B.
