Pros
My experience with TheyDo — from the very first recruiter conversation through onboarding — has been genuinely outstanding.
The Tech Recruiter was incredibly friendly, transparent, and proactive from day one. He consistently checked in to make sure I understood every step of the process, clarified expectations, and kept me updated at all times. I never felt left wondering about next steps or timelines, which made the entire candidate experience smooth and respectful.
Once the offer was communicated, the People Ops Specialist continued with the same level of care and enthusiasm. Communication remained clear, timely, and well organized. There was a genuine sense of excitement on both sides about joining the company, which made the transition feel very positive and personal rather than transactional.
Pre-onboarding was seamless. Equipment delivery was timely, setup instructions were clear, and overall adaptability and organization were excellent. Everything felt thoughtfully prepared, which made starting on day one stress-free.
Onboarding itself has been very well structured. There is strong documentation, established processes, and a clear ramp-up plan. My manager has been consistently available, approachable, and supportive, which made it easy to gain context quickly and start contributing with confidence.
From a technical perspective, it’s clear that the company invests in long-term quality. Modern tools and technologies are available, and there is visible effort toward improving code quality and reducing tech debt rather than accumulating shortcuts. Projects are well thought out, often driven by real user needs, and technically interesting to work on.
The atmosphere across the company is open, collaborative, and positive. Everyone is approachable and genuinely willing to help or discuss ideas. Leadership appears confident and intentional in its direction, and what stands out most is that people truly believe in the company’s vision — it feels authentic and aligned.
Overall, it has been a super positive experience, both professionally and culturally.
Cons
At the moment, I can’t think of any real cons — everything feels well structured, supportive, and thoughtfully executed.
