Pros

They offer unlimited paid time off (PTO) or up to 6 weeks.

Cons

The amount of work they require you to do for a very low salary is insane. As a recruiter, you are not only doing your job duties, but the duties of a coordinator and a sourcer. They force you to track everything you do in various Excel spreadsheets for "data" but it's really another form of micromanagement. They schedule mandatory meetings every single day that could've been an email, but once again they micromanage everything you do. The leadership is messy and unqualified. Most of them promoted based on friendships rather than qualifications and it shows. They are quick to jump down your throat and side with other leads rather than supporting their direct reports. Everyone at this company is pretending just to get by, it's mentally and emotionally draining. I would not recommend working for this company as they are extremely unprofessional, which is very evident early on in their interview process. Also, they refer to themselves as a start up but the company has been around for more than 25 years now. Just know, even on your worst day this is not the company you want to work for.

Pros

Pro is basically the kids who have parents that work until 6 pm have a place to be instead of the streets

Cons

My QAC asked a bunch of us to come on the site and give 5 star reviews because the CEO is finally paying attention to what their employees actually think of the company. Basically this company is the worst place I've ever worked for. My program leaders and are very frustrated by the watch dog QAC. The Quality Assurance Coaches are intimidating and love to show up at your job to catch you on anything and everything. Our QAC asked us to come on this site and give 5 star reviews but I'm going to be honest even if they figure out who I am. There is major retaliation towards anyone who speaks up about the inequality and poor treatment of site coordinators and Program Leaders. Program quality is extremely low and incredibly high turn over rate. Seems like every month we get new program leaders because of poor work environment quality. Do not waste your time with HR they are not with you and never will be. HR is quick to place blame on person filing complaint there are no consequences for management staff only frontline staff like site coordinators and program leaders will bare any consequences. Every time they ask us to train our staff if a new format of doing things the next week they change their minds and ask us to do it another way. When the CEO Holds a meeting of Q & A our QAC told us that he doesn't have time for random questions all questions need to be email screened and if approved you can ask and if not approved And you voice your opinion you better believe there will be consequences. If you are desperate and are willing to put your health, your dignity, and have lots of stress than this job will meet those needs. Otherwise I suggest another company. I myself am desperately looking for another job.

Pros

Parents and kids are appreciative of what you do for them. You get to meet a lot of people who genuinely care about making a difference excluding the Hub office people

Cons

This place is depressing. It's a good thing they offer health insurance because the overwhelming amount of stress will lead you to the doctors office at least once a month. The quality assurance coaches are the biggest bullies in this company. Any complaints sent to human resources will backfire. I'm currently looking for another job as is several other employees. I've worked in a lot of school based programs and by far this is one of the most immoral, disrespectful, degrading, abusive place to be. Stay away trust me!!
