Pros

Creative, inspiring, work you can believe in. Small Portland office supported by larger company in New York provides chance to work with new people and travel. Publishing jobs are hard to find in Portland and Timber Press is the best opportunity in the city.

Cons

Small office makes career advancement difficult. The work can seem repetitive. Book publishing does not see like a job that will be very secure in the future.
