Pros

Coworkers (some of them) Bonus Opportunities (only for senior management titles and above) Casual Dress Summer Hours

Cons

For some roles, the pay is not equal to the tasks assigned. If you are looking for a promotion or any type of recognition you have to be marked as one of the "favorites." Upper management has NO IDEA the amount of time, energy, and expertise it takes to keep parts of the business operational and successful. Departments constantly fight with each other and play the "blame game." Directors and VP's included. Tons of deflection. Nobody wants to take responsibility. You can blatantly voice your concerns to your superior about the behavior of your coworkers being toxic and unethical and provide examples and say multiple times "I feel uncomfortable" and NOTHING will come from it because that coworker is your superior's "favorite." If management does try to address these issues they will do so in the form of pizza parties or happy hours. It's never communication and accountability. The brand is stuck in the dark ages. Failing to conduct any market research or consumer insights about products and simply designing watches based on "good feelings" or personal preference from a select group of people. Upper management then expects all products to be a raging success and sell out each and every time and is absolutely furious when it does not happen and looks to the teams to figure out why the products are not selling when it's blatantly obvious it's from little consumer research, poor branding, and a packed product launch schedule.

Nice building and co-workers.

Cons

Company has been a downward spiral for the last 8 years. New CEO every 2 or 3 years. Steady decline in bonus, down to zero last 2 years. Losing market share. Can't compete. Just fired 52 engineering employees Products late to market

Pros

The pros this company had were its 401k plan and retirement plan, which have been changed/eliminated.

Cons

A corporate environment. Once you're hired, you do whatever you can to hold your job (anything but work that is). Office politics galore. Meetings galore. Meetings about meetings galore. Blame and finger pointing galore. Nothing ever gets done. And you can get away with it. But the worst is the downright evil HR department. They will lie directly to you and stab you in the back. Do not trust anything they say. I have seen them embarrass people publicly and put others directly in the path of confrontation. All to set people up to be let go. Evil. If you're looking to join this company, don't do it at the corporate HQ in Middlebury. Look at the review ratings at that location only and it says it all.
