Pros

Nothing positive to say about this establishment.

Cons

No breaks/lunches for bookkeepers/fuel attendants, expected you to do some jobs that you did not sign up for, store director/MGMT was not qualified for his/their positions, everyone always had to take a smoke break but gave you hell if you had to go to the restroom, no benefits at all unless you were in full time management, cheated some people out of their raises, always cutting hours, denied you over time, managers would be immature, refused to let me switch departments

Pros

Tom Thumb has good benefits, there maybe opportunities for advancement within the Kroger corporation, and there are always plenty of hours to go around.

Cons

Dealing with the public is stressful and requires a lot of dirty work; cleaning bathrooms, specifically. You have to be able to stand for at least 8 hours, and the pay is not very good. Overall, it is a difficult job that is often very unrewarding.

Pros

They have a flexible schedule, good pay, and opportunity to move up.

Cons

The store directors are very good with customers, but horrible to the employees. Nothing is ever good enough and they never give positive feedback.
