Pros

It is a good place to learn how to make money from crap, and how if you are an incompetent you can stay years in the company.

Cons

- Senior leadership are not engaging and not accessible. - Slow paced people and poor quality product focussed. It's embarrassing! - A company where if you have great ideas you will be pissed off by incompetent managers. - You feel light years away from the end customer.

Dutch success story that lost touch with its employees

Pros

TomTom is a great name to have on your CV. It's a renowned brand, especially in Europe and, for a long time, it was one of those Dutch companies that really stood out as a success. People, not management, is what makes this company a great place to work.

Cons

Personal growth is inexistent. For years I have seen a very low amount of people actually moving up, instead a lot of people being brought in to do the job that so many qualified people already in the company could be doing. Instead, they are stuck in the same job or same level for years. Salaries get also stuck, while new people are being offered extreme amounts to bring them in.
