Pros

Good pension, good personalities. Pay is competitive for new starters.

Cons

IT directors come and go so regularly there is no clear strategy that persists for longer than 18 months. The bureaucracy is staggering and the amount wasted on unnecessary projects would be viewed as scandalous by shareholders if they knew the extent. If promoted from within, expect meagre increases that eventually get you somewhere close, but not at, parity with new starters.

Pros

Knows the business well, been there +30 years, has a lot of loyalty from personnel he has appointed over the years.

Cons

Not strategic, surrounded by yes men, brought in external people to most of the business unit boards who don't have the same values. Senior management get too involved in operational matters, and drags everyone down.

Pros

The good thing is that they are flexible in work hours.

Cons

they advertise for full time and they will give u 16hrs contract .I inconsistent in their arrangement.They do not appreciate hard work.paid 6 days annual leave for 6month probation instead of 12.5 days. worst of it do not support career progression.no sick pay.
