Health insurance starts 1st month. That is it......
Cons
The working environment is poor. In our daily Zoom meetings, almost everyone (except people whom were brand new or the favorite) looked unhappy, overworked, and disengaged. Overwork is one thing but the situation compounded by a really toxic work culture, where they (at times passively aggressively) do not respect, definitely do not trust, and do not empower employees. Favoritism was clear, where they had one favorite they repeatedly spoke highly of while diminishing the talents and contributions of everyone else. Oddly enough, they would wonder what was going on with people not ever feeling that they could speak up, and mentioned that more than once... Here is what happened to me.... I was completing all tasks and completing them well the entire time I was there (I have been coding for 24 years btw). I had asked for reasonable accommodations, and at some point, had to go to the hospital for a couple days. Within a month, I was let go. In the exit meeting, they claimed that I was only performing at 27% and was writing poor code over my tenure there. This was completely false and that could be proven in the Git code history. Also, nothing ever came back in the bug log regarding the work I did.. I have a case if I decide to go to court. They let me go because I had asked for accommodations and wanted to start that conversation with them. I was open regarding what accommodations would be received. I am now homeless, which is the most traumatic period I ever experienced. I did not deserve this.
