Pros

- Easier than retail - No one looking over your shoulder as you work. - Company is growing

Cons

- Use to be a family-type atmosphere when I first started 2 yrs ago..now it is the complete opposite. - Seems like the only time management talks to us is when someone messes up. No words of encouragement or appreciation. - Company is growing rapidly, but last year's "raise" was a joke. - Decision making can be better... no going back and forth. - Rules need to be enforced much more consistently. - Morale is bad because people do not trust management, leads, the people that are in charge. They definitely play favorites and are not consistent. - Little to no communication from leadership. - Open 365 days a year, so more than likely the "essential workers" have to work majority of holidays.

Pros

Unlimited PTO Work from home

Cons

There is no strategic direction or plan. When repeatedly asked for a strategy in order to build a team to support that strategy, I was told to, “just hire and fill the team.” Which subsequently explains the recent layoffs at the organization. Upper management doesn’t value the experience or expertise of their team members. Most of the senior leadership lacks basic management skills, but then bullies and belittles more experienced leaders when they bring up suggestions for change or improvement. The sad part is that the people who work there are incredibly smart and great people, but without good leadership and strategic direction, it has turned into a everyone just try to survive mentality. Expectations flip by the day or sometimes by the hour. No one is providing direction on prioritization so everything is a priority which leads to poor work life balance. Most people are overworked and burnt out.

Pros

Buisness has promise and barrier to entry, interesting problems, uses latest tech and trends. Pay is pretty good for a startup.

Cons

Particular employee very unpleasant to work with. So bad it influenced multiple people to leave and others to start looking for jobs. Feels like high turnover recently of people who have been with company longest. Lots of work after hours.
