Pros

-- Remote work from Home -- Some of your peers are pretty cool and intelligent to work with

Cons

-- No 401k matching contribution -- Expect to work unusual hours: late nights and weekends -- They do not suffer fools lightly. You make a mistake or if you say or do anything that could potentially turn off their clients, Trumid will fire you without any warning. In my case, I happen to raise my voice during a meeting with the project manager for a client, which I didn't know was Trumid's biggest client and also an investor in Trumid. I raised my voice (but did not use any profanities) because the project manager kept asking me the same question over and over, and I gave him the same answer, which wasn't going to change cuz it was based on what I knew of Trumid's technical procedures. After the meeting, one of my supervisors and I got on a Zoom meeting to discuss my behavior, and I agreed with my supervisor that I let my emotions get the best of me. I apologized to my supervisor and told him I would be more cognizant of letting my impatience get out of control. I thought that would be the end of the issue cuz I didn't have any further behavior problems at work, and nobody at the management level mentioned it or spoke to me about it. Then a couple months later, the CTO suddenly called me into a Zoom meeting and abruptly fired me. I asked him if there was a reason for firing me, because I was surprised and perplexed. The CTO chuckled(?!?) and said that some days I was a superstar employee and other days I was not a superstar employee and that my lack of predictability in my work quality was not to Trumid's liking (In my mind at the time, I wanted to say to him, "So you would prefer me to be consistently a bad employee??"). And that was it. That same day, their general counsel sent me the separation agreement with the severance terms for me to sign, and slam, bam, thank you, ma'am, I was let go. The experience was so traumatic for me, that to this day, I still think about the experience because I'm still perplexed as to why I was terminated.
