So much potential but no delivery

Pros

- Meet amazing coworkers - Surviving together will lead to deep friendships

Cons

- Underpaid - High employee turnover rate - Lack of honesty from top management - You will never do enough, top management will always ask for more and will rarely hand out praise (even if you blow through goals) - You either agree with the top management or you suffer, there is no room for your own opinion or ideas if they don't match up - A lot of what you are promised when you are hired will never come to fruition and you will become tired of all the lies and deceit

A blatant disregard for the issues at hand

Pros

Cool location for the office You will meet some great people here

Cons

Where to begin. This place is completely mismanaged. Employee turnover is a constant and, yet, they won't address the issue of why. The CEO is blind to the fact that he drives talent away (either intentionally turning a blind eye to it or sincerely incapable of seeing his own flaws). Regardless, no one makes it very long here. The last day here will be your happiest day ever. You might start drinking too much while you work here to cope with the insanity of your daily work life. In short, if you are considering employment here, consider something else. You know those jobs where you dance on a corner with a sign? Even on a freezing day, that job will probably bring you more joy than your life here. Lastly, if you are female, stay FAR away. Forget being taken seriously. That's only for the boys.

Pros

-You will form a life-long bond with other suffering employees -Mediocre weight loss strategy: I lost about 10 pounds while working here because I would physically shake in fear all day

Cons

For the entirety of my stay at TurboTenant, I was never a valued employee. I would always get my work done, I'd bring new ideas to the table, and I would go above and beyond my job description to help make TurboTenant a great service. In return I was harassed by management, I began questioning my self-worth, and spent my evenings crying to my partner trying to figure out how I ended up at a place like TurboTenant. I feel fortunate to have learned as much as I did about work culture while working here, but I regret that it had to happen this way. When I was first hired at TurboTenant I was promised a great work environment, flexible vacation, and other great benefits. We ended up working on holidays like Thanksgiving and New Years and the benefits were of lesser value than anywhere I've worked prior. I was given the promise of a fun startup culture, but was told on multiple occasions that my opinion didn't matter and witnessed a horrifyingly misogynistic CEO. If you value your life, I would recommend working anywhere but here.
