      Pros

      Awesome product, salary, compensation from closing big deals. You will cut your teeth in cutthroat sales here.

      Cons

      Cold calling, very little training, sink or swim environment, Micro-management, Work-life balance, company values, managers that belittle subordinates. The reality is that this place is a sweat-shop. It is a Bain Investment company, where the model is to recruit young sales professionals, work them to the bone and spit them out. Repeat that as the quarters go on. Your job will be on the line every month, starting from day one.

      Pros

      Everyone who's not a manager is cool but it's sad because they're all leaving. Everyone seems to be jumping ship. Also, this is a great experience to teach you what not to do.

      Cons

      You know there's a problem when there is an unbelievable amount of turnover here. Titles are a joke. Why are there so many sales vp's and so many chief execs?? A chief people person is not a real title! And salary is subpar...very clearly below market. In interviewing and getting out of the Turbo bubble, it's clear that this place is not normal. You can make more, get real professional development, and find actual work life balance at so many other great tech companies. Contrary to the kool aid they're injecting into our iv's, there is a world outside of Turbonomic and according to how my former colleagues are doing, you can be successful in it!

      Pros

      There are good people that work here.

      Cons

      This place is about as dysfunctional as they come. Basically the CEO, CFO and founder run the show. All sales, marketing and financial decisions are routed to the top. If they don’t like it forget it. I once saw the CEO wanted an SE fired because he did not use the right PPT template. They talk a big game. Change the world and the like but at the end of the day if you work here you will be taking orders or you will be fired. If you have talent and you work well with folks don’t work here it will sour you.
