An absolute joke of a company

Pros

Decent benefits. Good people. The kind of friendships that can only be built through shared pain.

Cons

Narcissistic leadership wastes everyone's time with crappy repetitive ideas. Innovation is stifled. There is no trust in employees. Management is dishonest, manipulative and emotionally abusive. Employees keep giving feedback and nothing changes.

Pros

- Some great individuals there - Initial product ideas had potential - The physical workplace is nice with lots of snacks - A really unique set of people backing it

Cons

- They value their partners and celebrities more than their own team (for instance only DJ Khaled was listed under their Team section) - They don't pay contractors on time (and sometimes employees) - Upper and middle management don't listen (they will pretend to listen and take no action) - The product is being developed on a whim - Lots of broken promises (they would have a million downloads at launch)

Not the best

Pros

-bi-coastal offices -good benefits -needed two more words for this line

Cons

Leadership is overall lazy, but demanding. I felt overworked and under appreciated during my time with the company (save for some really sweet c-suite team members). There was definitely a lot of weird politics and cattiness going on behind the scenes making it an awkward and uncomfortable experience every day. I think the company vision is too broad. The idea in general isn't that groundbreaking and nothing stands out which is why nothing seems to progress.
