Great place to learn with major downsides
Pros
-The individuals who work here are genuine and caring. -Projects will challenge you to become a better professional. Learning should be the primary reason you should want to work here. -The projects are ambitious and cool to work on.
Cons
-The management team is very upward-focused, and employees are not considered primary stakeholders when making decisions. -Management is reactive instead of proactive. -Culture is diminishing due to the management team trying to grow the company too quickly. Thus, turnover and employee dissatisfaction are on the rise. -North American culture is very different than the UK's. -All projects will be under-resourced. -You will be put in many sink or swim situations with very little support from the company. This will lead to amazing learning experiences but not without long hours and struggle. If you are not a self-starter, then I would re-consider working here. -No formal onboarding process. -Expect to work very long hours. If work-life balance is important to you, then I would reconsider working here. -Although you may progress quite quickly as a professional, don't expect your pay to rise with your ability to perform. -Role progression is quite slow even though it is a growing company. -There are a few diversity and inclusion issues. -Two Circles is a 200+ person company without an HR department. This speaks volumes about how much they are willing to invest in anything that doesn't generate client revenue.
