Pros

great for the expat community, offer some helpful training, answer quickly to emails ad equiries

Cons

your work load and expierence is very much based on which school you get which is not equal across all schools. You can be expected to do a lot with very little training

Pros

* The experience depends a lot on the school you are given, but if you are given a good school with good students and staff, the job can be good and not too difficult

Cons

* The hours are a bit unfair. On your 'contract' for full-time, the hours are stated as '26'. However, in many cases, you are expected to be in the school 40 hours, so it really is a 40-hour position, not 26 at all. The salary they offer would be reasonable if the job were around 26 hours, but saying 26 and expecting 40 is a bit of a stretch, especially considering many of the schools are far away, so you can add a couple of hours travel time on top. Also, the salary is not really enough to live off, so it's often necessary to teach extra classes to make enough and end up being totally exhausting.
