Pros
PTO is the only thing but the price you pay for that is your emotional and physical well-being the rest of the time. It isn't worth it going home stressed and feeling broken down.
Cons
All about the numbers. Doctors double-booked with hygienists needing exams, So many new patients every day. Hard to keep up with everything and being ready for the next patient. Every doctor has their own way of doing things. No consistency. No OT. Management keeps pushing for the numbers and company is losing money even though they give away treatment for patients paying a nominal "slide" fee. Some patients refuse to pay and they are seen. Then they say they are losing money and reduce benefits for the workers.
