Pros

Supportive dedicated team whose commitment to the Young people is paramount, enabling them to achieve the best outcomes in life. Focus on a therapeutic approach means that Unique Care contributes positively to the lives of young people. The staff structure is supportive, inclusive and everyones voices is heard. Regular supervisions and team meetings take place that everyone is encouarged and invitied to join no matter what your role. Exceptional range of training for all staff to complete online as well as up to date training courses professionally delivered throughout the organisation, keeping all staff up to date with any regulations, policies and procedures to ensure the high standard of care that Unique Care provides. Moving to Unique Care was a career change that I have no regrets having made.

Cons

Short notice of monthly rota sometimes.

Thank you so much for your feedback - it's lovely to hear that you are enjoying your role with us and that you feel so supported. Our protocol is that the monthly rota is issued at least a month in advance; if there are issues with this please do speak to management and it will be reviewed. Thanks again!

Thank you for taking the time to give us feedback, it's great to hear you feel so well supported. Yes, as you say we work daytime shifts of 14 hours, three days per week. This provides consistency for the children/young people throughout the day. This also means 4 rest/leisure days per week, which I hope you are finding gives you a good balance.

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback to us. We are pleased you feel there is good self development and progression opportunity. We note the holiday booking feedback. At the tail end of 2024 we had some technical glitches with our digital holiday booking platform, however these were rectified and reviewed before Christmas so you should now find holiday booking is simple and accessible, and the managers respond promptly to all requests made. Many thanks
