Amazing team, great work environment, tons of opportunities
Pros
UpCodes is fully remote so there's lots of flexibility with where you work. The team is full of people who are incredibly smart and talented. It's encouraging to be around the team not only because they drive you towards increased output and improvement, but they are all super kind, open, and fun to work with. Since I've started, I've seen 5 internal promotions (including one for me) so it's clear there's a lot of opportunities for growth.
Cons
Being so remote has its pros and cons. If you're not a self starter, you may struggle - the job is very independent. We don't have a lot of meetings so it can take time and effort to get to know other people. Getting to know your coworkers across different roles doesn't come as naturally as it would in an office setting or in other remote jobs that have more meetings.
