Pros

A short stay of 9 months, it was horrible looking at thing’s how the management handle their daily operations. Flexible working hours is very nice when the management is away. Senior staffs are just a bunch of death woods waiting for retirement.

Cons

If you have planing for retirement, this is the best place to go and spend the rest of your life there in such a nice old folks home. Low in salary and no career prospect. Good place for watching video, relax and playing computer games.

Pros

I have been working in Singapore office for quite a few years and it offers a good working environment. The environment provides flexible working hours and it gives me a good work life balance. Its a small team with very strong work ethics. Have worked on many interesting projects. The team is quite dynamic and cheerful. Having worked here for these many years I can say that comfortably if you like hands-off approach towards working environment where you want to utilize your full creative skills as a Naval Architect, then this is the place to be.

Cons

I don't have much negative things to say.

Pros

After almost 10 years my remuneration is adequate, not big but adequate.

Cons

Bad management. For almost 10 years i work with this company, and i had no advance oportunities. All the high positions in the company is given to friends or relatives, no contest no nothing. 10 years in same position. Almost everything i know today, is by own experience, nobody helped me to learn, just give a lot of responsability and then blamed me for not knowing, or doing .... Bad work conditions. As an engineer you are forced to do a lot of things that other people should do(like foremans, or even workers). All the blame is on engineers when thing goes south, and all the credit is taken by managers when the engineers turn the situation. Foremans are better seen then engineers in this yard, by the management.
