      CURRY PUFFS? Seriously?

      Pros

      When sales is good, you will be treated with curry puffs, nasi lemak and juices. 30% staff purchase on Valiram brands.

      Cons

      No support from upper management or even immediate reporting manager. Made to work overnight without paying OT allowances and not able to claim transport back home. Getting approval from upper management is like squeezing a dried up lemon. Very stingy bosses and every task want to be provided cheap or free job by supplier. Very bad logistic services. Treat employees like slaves while receiving peanut salary.

      Uniform is provided, colleagues might be friendly.

      Cons

      Salary is below average. Will recommend for individuals that are into reptiles, you’d be working with snakes of all sizes. Management will promise you all sorts of things like pay increment of at least $300-500 so as to retain you. But when the time came increment amount was less than $90. All shopping bags provided to customers has to be accounted for so as to save money for the company. As they ran out of paper bags often and replaced it with white bags. Delivery team had to pay for fuel with their own cash at times and reimbursement took many months to process.

      Pros

      Free testing for the products in-store. Besides that, I can't think of more.

      Cons

      The job comes with a low basic salary and was very stressful. Despite long working hours, the relationship between colleagues is a challenge too. The sales floor is always competitive, it simply makes you physically, and mentally tired.
