      Accounts Payables- A great place to work!

      Pros

      I have been an employee at Veranova for 2 years now and I love working there. It's a fast paced environment where there's never a shortage of work, but I go to work with a positive attitude and enjoy my job. The days fly by quickly when you enjoy what you do. My teammates are fantastic, my manager is helpful and approachable, and is willing to make changes in order to make us do our jobs more efficiently. Benefits are great and affordable, we have a beautiful working environment, and we have employee lunches and snacks quite frequently as a thank you from management for all of our hard work. We have summer and Christmas staff events that are always a blast, the work we do is interesting, and we're all like one big family.

      Cons

      Veranova used to be a very small company, and is a great property management company. Through positive word of mouth, Veranova grew very quickly. We are still trying to adapt to this growth, and trying to make our jobs more efficient. It's a very fast paced environment with deadlines and unexpected things that pop up that need to be dealt with right away- if you're the "laid back" type of worker who has no sense of urgency then Veranova isn't the place for you.

      Not awful but isn’t the best

      Pros

      Pay isn’t awful for starters. Flexible PTO, Schedule flexibility to an extent, Good starting Job. They will train you well. Training really never stops so you can always ask questions.

      Cons

      The company allows for toxic and self absorbed behavior. Gossip is very common. They lack the ability to keep lab supplies and office supplies stocked. Waste room is always full. Ridicule is normal.

      Very Toxic and Negative Environment

      Cons

      The only good thing about this job is the work life balance and dress code. The salary is far below the standard norm and the workload is unmanageable. You are always covering for other coworkers and consistently doing the workload of 2-3 workers. It is completely impossible to do your job efficiently and you will get reprimanded for everything with absolutely no reward or recognition for hard work. Job security is questionable, at best. Most people I worked with were scared of losing their job on a daily basis. The turnover is horrendous and they go through many lay offs, with no good reasoning in their choices. Micromanaged, condescending, negative, clique environment that isn’t worth any amount of money, let alone the minuscule amount they give you. Terrible company.
