      Great people, poor management top to bottom

      Pros

      Interesting product to work with, highly technical with many opportunities to innovate. Individual contributors in the engineering groups are typically intelligent and hard working. They are able to overcome the constant placement of obstacles in the development path.

      Cons

      Programs are poorly managed, no focus on the important functional requirements of the product. Management is so busy "reacting" to issues from the last product roll out, they ignore the proactive work that needs to be done for current product development. Management teams are hired in with no prior experience in POS development.

      Pros

      if you like changes and a vibrant organization, you would have to look for job at this company. There is always something going on, including seeing new colleagues every week. There is a lot of liberty doing your job as long as it looks good.

      Cons

      There are quite a few idiots here in positions which they can't handle. There are too many consultants at thick salaries who are arrogant and not willing to listen to employees who now how to get the job done.

      Majority of colleagues are great and helpful

      Cons

      Poor management and long term business outlook, trying to put off many small flames and not trying to save big forest fires. Accumulation will result to great losses on businesses. Some management personnels are the worst I have seen thus far. Not receptive towards opinions are feedbacks. Surveys for the employees are probably being carried out for the sake of it and only listens to what the management wants to hear.
