Pros
Don't repeat my mistake and look at the money only. I was kind of surprised how fast the hiring process went and the salary was good - no complaints there. However, later I discovered this is due to the very high turnover in the finance department because the upper leadership is super aggressive and all about micromanagement, impossible deadlines, finger pointing, and negative energy.
Cons
Terrible handover based on swim or sink approach. I joined on Monday and by Thursday I left the office at 10 PM because they held you accountable from day one with no ramp up period whatsoever. Very depressing start - and it went worse from there. No training - you have to figure it out on your own. Coaching is all about negative energy and finger pointing. They expect you to work in weekends and to be happy to frequently work till 3 AM and everything is needed "today...at what time are you going to send me the report"? as if you're in an assembly line. If you leave before 7:30 PM then you'll be blacklisted and harassed. Terrible systems. Database broken? Then do it manually from 8 AM till 8 PM...its your problem not the company's problem. They know that the work environment sucks but try to cover it up by making you feel that you're under performing. Management don't give a damn about corporate culture or employees. All they care about are the impossible deadlines by the hour!
