Pros

- The team is friendly (to an extent) - The occasional event with food and drinks included

Cons

- Constant feel of competition pressure between colleagues to have to do better than each other (not in a good way) - Extremely top heavy with seniors not willing to help pick up any workload and expect anything remotely admin to be handled by juniors - Expanding on the previous point, this prevented juniors from being able to excel in their role and go above and beyond and think creatively or strategically for their clients - The team was a lot of shouting of 'accomplishments' but when it came down to it, no one wanted to actually do the work - Cult-like environment - very uncomfortable - Everyone seemed fake and like no one liked each other

Pros

- mostly nice people - some reputable clients - tech savvy - food and drink - dog friendly - global outlook - chief economist - nice office

Cons

- bullhorn agency = rarely trusted with issues or high impact work - bullhorn people = big on reply-all - many promises made, few fulfilled - few people actually understand finance (despite claims about series 7 trained staff) - email list sent around naming and shaming people if they did not like or share corporate social media posts - very junior staff with high burnout rate - zero tolerance for critique - mid level employees had a strange obsession with leadership team

New Hires Beware - Cult-Like Experience

Pros

- food/coffee - nice office - chief economist - lots of lunch and learn sessions

Cons

- Similar to all previous negative reviews, this company is a borderline cult - There have been a select few of employees who have been there since the company was founded and they created an extremely toxic work environment that stifled all creativity and growth at the junior level - The senior management team sent around a spreadsheet at the end of every week that named and shamed employees who did not share all corporate social media posts because "you should share everything that your company posts" - I wouldn't be surprised if half of the positive reviews on here were fabricated because they frequently asked current employees to leave Glassdoor reviews - The three founders appear like great role models in communications from afar, but if they created this environment at the junior level, I'm not sure they're in touch with the company - They use millennial-focused perks like unlimited PTO, cold brew, and unlimited snacks as a way to disguise the awful work environment and poor benefits - The Grad Program is a glorified admin internship filled with lies of getting an iPad, Series 7 training, and being treated as an equal
