Pros

Fellow coworkers are all great people.

Cons

Company has terrible management that fails to keep it’s employee’s safe. I have had numerous work place violence issues to the point the police had to be involved. I had a direct manager threaten to kill me because over night technicians failed to pick up day time work and my boss saw it fitting to scream obscenities in front of the whole office. I went to HR over the incident and 5 minutes after my meeting with hr the same manager calls me on my personal cell and threatens to “kill me and my whole family as my HR report might cause him to lose his job”. I immediately reported this to HR and the police. Vision Net never fired the manager after they escalated this incident to threats of violence. He started to retaliate against me, not allowing me back at work during a time when I was going through medical treatment and insisted I get a new dr note for every single day I missed during treatment even though I had provided a note saying I was in an ongoing treatment process but was clear to work as long as I was able to. Him and another manager who still works at the company began to harass me over my medical situation saying I need to ask my dr for stronger drugs. I filed a retaliation report with HR as things had only gotten worse since I reported my manager for the death threat. HR conducted an investigation and handed me a letter saying I was in fact retaliated against by management. I asked HR what was going to be done to fix the years of harassment and retaliation that led to a demotion and numerous pay cuts. The company literally fired the in house HR person we had that following day and went with a 3rd party HR company, Aureon. I tried to bring up my ongoing retaliation claim again with this new HR company and I was flat out ignored for months. I was finally put in contact with an HR rep after months of waiting and complaints to management that HR would not respond. The HR rep told me that they had “illegally” destroyed all my previous HR reports and that they had nothing to go off of and that I “needed to drop it”. I quit this company as my retaliation case was never resolved and I continued to suffer from on going retaliation and even physical violence. My most recent and final interaction was a fellow coworker who had issues with coming to work drunk and had even been sent to rehab as a result of coming to work drunk, lost his cool at another coworker but since I was the only one in the room, he took his aggressions out on me by cornering me and punching a hole in the wall 2 feet from my desk. HR never fired him…the whole is still in the wall. This company is full of illegal practices and does not value their employees at all. They make record profits and you make the bare minimum and have to fear for your life at an office job all while achieving those record profits.

Pros

Coworkers of the same level were amazing Small handful of teamlead/supervisors were understanding Fantastic Benefits package (both health and savings)

Cons

Mandatory overtime for senior techs Requests for hour[s] changes were usually brushed under the rug (unless you were a lead) Employees are treated like peons (ie, supervisors are sure to let you know you are replaceable) Sacrifices of any nature are not appreciated

Pros

The employees are amazing. This use to be an amazing company to work for.

Cons

They do not believe in work life balance. They will work you and use you and then find legal ways to get rid of you if you question what they are doing. They do not care about you.
