Pros

Free coffee, tea and hot cocoa and occasional dress down days

Cons

Everything. This company lies to you from the very beginning. As an analyst, one would think that they are going to be analyzing and sharing the outcome of their analysis with the company, and as part of a large team, the company would want to hear your thoughts and ideas. This is not the case. The title Business Operations Analyst only means that you will be doing data entry work and proof reading documents for errors. You must do this quickly and without errors. If you are not fast enough they will let you go. That's it in a nut shell. There is no analyzing involved. If you are looking to grow and become part of a team that values you and your ideas, this is not the place for you. If you want to sit at your desk all day, being judged based on your production and your production only, then this is the job for you. If you are looking for no room for growth, then this is the job for you. If you are satisfied with no recognition for a job well done, then this is the job for you. The managers will not share with you how they really feel about you. They are extremely phony and you will never really know if you are valued or not, whether you do a good job or not. But, if your production numbers are not within a certain parameter, they will get rid of you so fast it will make your head spin. This job is perfect for someone who has no life and wants to put in a lot of overtime. Oh, and you will not be paid for the overtime, because it is an exempt position. This in itself is questionable, because under L & I description of exempt, this position does not apply. So, the fact that they don't pay the Business Operations Analysts overtime, but expect it, and even mandate it, may be illegal. This company is very shady and has a high turnover rate.

Pros

Medical Insurance and deductibles are low. That's it.

Cons

Management and leads create and environment so uncomfortable. Training is beyond poor. Desk helps (as stated on previous reviews) are inconsistent, poorly written, lack most information required to do your job. Reach out to a lead for assistance; vague answers. Half the information needed to complete the work you are assigned. But not if you fit into their clique. Suck up, overweight, and like to gossip. Those individuals get special treatment. However, most are not. The overtime is 10 hours mandatory, every week. Not as stated in their job posting or during the interview process. Plus they ask you to work weekends because the turn over here is overwhelming. If you want to feel beat up, have no life...this job is for you. If you want a long term career (one will turn their back on you and the whole department will dislike you), continue your job search. Most evil place I have ever worked. And I am not a millennial. Professional background--This place completely lacks.

Pros

My compensation was decent, but also the same amount I get paid at better companies.

Cons

When I accepted the job I had read all of the negative Glassdoor complaints about WIRB but did not believe them. I left a good job for the worst job of my life, the kind that ruins weekends because you are stressed about ever going back. After I left many people were let go that had good performance reviews. While I was there, I dealt with extreme micromanagement. Also be prepared to be talked to if using your own sick time. I am so happy I have a new great job elsewhere and was just thinking about how lucky I am, thought I'd warn others. Obviously the good reviews are fake. No one goes on Glassdoor while working for a company to write a rave review. Think about it.

Thank you for your review and congratulations on finding a job that is a better fit for you. I do agree that this type of platform lends itself to having more negative reviews than the positive ones. That being said, I have had employees tell me they disagree with some of the reviews they have read from this site and let me know they posted a review of their own. As an organization, we do not take the time to write fake reviews or encourage people to do so.
