In regards to pay, our compensation philosophy is to pay competitive to market based on cost of talent data, using high tech salaries surveys for benchmarking. We review our salary ranges on an annual basis and then conduct an annual salary planning review for market adjustment increases.
Regarding promotions within Technical Support, we recognize that the slowing economy has created a situation where we've had to keep people in their current positions longer than we would normally prefer, however it is one of our goals as a company to ensure every employee feels like they are always learning, growing and have a plan for their future. We encourage you to work with your manager to ensure you have a development plan and brainstorm opportunities to take on new challenges while working in your current role, until a promotion opportunity can come available.
