Manager was absolutely stellar. This entire hospital is a small and caring atmosphere. The hiring process was easy and orientation comprehensive. Lots of "community" feel. My department worked together like a well-oiled machine, and it was generally a joy to go to work here.
Cons
Uncertainty with regard to St. Luke's takeover sent me packing. There was a lot of unrest during Mr. Litz's tenure, but he did his job and turned the facility around.
Great co-workers. Everyone always has a good time interacting with each other and the patients we transport. Optional work schedules to allow everyone to have the times they need off.
Cons
Constantly blamed and complained about. but never congratulated when you do a good job. Considered the pee ons of the hospital community. Pay is terrible for the hard work and physical labor we put in. Half the time we are doing others jobs (Aids and Nurses).
