      Pros

      Well run company and engineering department. Nice and supportive coworkers. It's a company that has a mission and really believes in it and it's ability to improve people's lives. Opportunity to travel to work with others and to experience the African markets the company operates in.

      Cons

      Engineering is fully remote, which can be a little isolating. That said, people are always willing to jump on a call. Pay is on the low side.

      - Everyone is dedicated, motivated, supportive, and caring - Goal oriented, which allows for lots of flexibility and great work life balance - High autonomy and independence, very collaborative enviroment with a great engineering design review and postmortem culture - Highly qualified peers to learn from and grow, all driven by the same values - Completely transparent communication, pretty much every document is in the open, even 1:1s! - You get to travel to different countries in West Africa with the help of locals, and get an experience you couldn't get otherwise - Work on a product used by millions and with real impact, which you get to see for yourself on your first immersion trip - Great benefits across the board, and competitive salary

      Cons

      Takes a bit to adjust to the remote-first culture for those that have never worked fully remotely in a distributed team
