Pros

Coffee Machine - You’ll need it to keep you going all day. Occasional Friday lunches.

Cons

Poor salary. No career advancement. No yearly reviews. No pay rises unless you kick and scream. Staff not recognised / rewarded for their hard work and dedication. Questionable operations management. No HR department - which speaks volumes as to how they can get away with what happens behind closed doors - and open ones. They care more about the money lining their pockets than delivering quality work for clients. They say they can do something just to get the money from a client and then figure out late how to do it. Amateur hour. Technology is dated. Systems that are sold in to unsuspecting clients are flawed and don’t actually function as they should. Everything is swept under the rug. You are not a team member at Wellcom, you are a number. Direct quote: “Everyone is replaceable.”

Pros

Some amazing coworkers whose talents are sadly wasted at Wellcom. The only good thing about Wellcom is the people. Free DIY coffee (only perk you'll have).

Cons

No career progression. No performance reviews. Internal communication is terrible. People randomly disappear and you find out later they've been made redundant. No HR at all. No payrises unless you kick and scream. People are segregated into silos and never allowed to go outside their job zone. NO benefits at all apart from free coffee. 90% of work is repetitive and boring. Senior management does not listen to employees concerns or seem to care about improving things unless it's going to benefit the profit margin. Shoddy business practices with clients (pretending there are more people doing the work than is the reality) which impacts teams very negatively; "no freelancers" even when people are stressed out and working late for days on end.
