Pros

There is still a good number of dedicated and knowledgeable employees. CEO is trying to lead his team forward and seems to be hiring competent people. Decent PTO and benefits, nice office location

Cons

Miserable remuneration for the mountain of work one has to do. Senior leaders spend more time managing up, politicking and protecting their turfs. People get promoted based on who they know, and the really good employees may not necessarily be recognized and/or rewarded

Pros

More than 200 years history.

Cons

No clear direction forward. Management does their own thing. All departments work in silos - totally no collaboration. The truth is beneath the surface.

First let me thank you for taking a moment to voice your opinion. While harsh, it's important that all employees feel empowered to express themselves appropriately whether in a forum like Glassdoor or in the workplace. It's true that large companies can sometimes struggle with the best ways to foster collaboration across different office locations, time zones, and departments. Nevertheless, collaboration is the cornerstone of success. It's why we've invested collaboration tools like the Office 365 suite for all employees or host innovation events to encourage cross-departmental solutions to common workflow pain points. I would challenge your advice that it's time to stop dreaming. To quote LL Cool J, "Stay focused, go after your dreams, and keep moving toward your goals. "

Pros

Good prospects but only if you're in manager's good books.

Cons

Some managers can be very 'personal and unprofessional. Very bad to bad mouth former employees, in front of current staff. Constant restructuring in company: causing current staff to feel insecure. Management does not seem to be transparent even though they have 'constant' communication.
