Pros

Regular schedule, surprisingly good health benefits. That's about it.

Cons

Unless you're family (or grew up with the family), you can basically forget about being treated, or being paid, decently. The best sales consultants and installers (the money makers), are still run into the ground being told they need to do more. Customer service members are treated like 2nd class citizens, and the rampant racism and sexism is what you'd expect from a company run by Alabama rednecks.

The money is good as a sales representative. You work independently and they have great year end travel trips, monthly lunch meetings, and other events.

Cons

You are 1099, dependent on lead generation from the company and what you can get yourself, and unlike other similar companies you are responsible for all your ordering and measuring. Errors cost you a lot. There is very little support from management and local management at the KC location, it is remotely run.

Not much pros. From time to time he will take you out for a team lunch but that’s it.

Cons

You will be left alone in the office and you will be expected to do others jobs. The warehouse coordinator gets to work from home somehow and you will be expected to unload the trucks by yourself. The owner has a short temper and will yell at you as he sees fit. He has even said “will I am the boss I can do what I want”. This place is very unprofessional and very unorganized. If you are a women he will treat you so much more differently but in a bad way. He is afraid to confront men and will let them walk all over him. If a customer gets mad at him he will come to you and get angry with you even though it wasn’t your fault.
