Pros

Lots of opportunities for visibility, truly interesting professional opportunities, management focused on working culture. WGC's unique blend of mission and financial support allows us to undertake a wide variety of interesting projects around the world. Excellent work life balance.

Cons

Singular focus on gold can be constraining, but it comes with the territory.

Pros

back-stabbing, political, poorly managed, faction-plagued, uncomfortable atmosphere - name and the Council has it - clearly the Gold Mining companies who fund this place don't care at all about what it does....

Cons

Same as above - no pros or cons - just reality

Pros

Well paid, good benefits and hard working, high quality employees.

Cons

Irrational, ineffective and frankly dysfunctional senior management. Almost impossible to succeed in that environment and as a result employee churn from the lower levels all the way to the top of the organization was extremely high.
