Pros

The pay is not bad.

Cons

There are basically no guidance from day 1, you have to figure out everything on your own, and if you did something wrong, you will get yelled at for ”NOT HAVING COMMON SENSE”; and if you did something perfect, they will shrug it off and tell you “that’s nothing compare to them working in Cyprus, they are the one who is taking the load”…but in reality, they only smoke drink walk around to chit-chat for more than 5 hours everyday in Cyprus HQ, and then come back to rush people and telling everyone they are doing a bad job except for themselves. There are no proper guidance or HR SOP when handling people, nothing is Fair or Human (but they are pretty skilled in being UNFAIR and INHUMAN) they just sent Final Warnings before investigating anything, and keep gaslighting people. It is like the only way they know how to “manage” is to keep gaslighting and scolding people until something reasonably normal happened, and they will take the credit for themselves.

Pros

I joined XM with high expectations, and it has exceeded them at every level. The People & Culture team goes to great lengths to ensure employees feel valued and cared for. It is one of the few companies that truly treats us as individuals who matter, rather than just numbers. The environment they’ve created fosters collaboration and friendly interactions, which has helped us make real friends. From a professional standpoint, there is significant room for growth, supported by an inspiring management team that helps us learn and evolve every year. If you are good at what you do and give the company the time and respect it deserves, it will give back to you tenfold.

Cons

This may be specific to my team, but due to the company's size, each department has a clear set of responsibilities and we don't participate in the processes of other departments. While this helps with organization and efficiency, it can take away from creative interaction and cross-departmental group projects. However, the teams are structured in a manner that allows us to handle the workload efficiently and ensures the continued success of the company.

Pros

I’ve been here since 2014, and the reason I’m still here is the culture. It’s a genuinely warm place to work where you don’t deal with big egos—people are actually reachable and eager to help out, whether it’s a tiny bug or a huge technical roadblock. What keeps it exciting for me is the company's drive to be #1. They are always pushing into new projects and huge challenges to stay competitive, so you never feel like you're stagnating. They really invest in our personal growth and tech stack to make sure we don't fall behind. Honestly, it feels like the company actually looks out for us and treats us like people

Cons

Because we’re always pushing to stay #1 and launching new projects, the pace can get pretty intense. It’s definitely not a place where you can just coast—you have to be ready to move fast and stay engaged. But for me, that’s exactly what keeps the work from getting boring; the challenge is part of the draw.
