Pros

The people seem nice. Lovely offices.

Cons

- There is a messy structure. - For a small business, management are disconnected from the day-to-day working of the business hence unaware of the underlying mess. - It was made clear to me the CEO changes priorities very quickly. It's difficult to harness your job fully & effectively. - Management need to do more training on respecting their people. - Moving goal posts instills an element of unease and instability. - It's a typical cut throat sales environment. More so given it's a small business. - They promote themselves to be bigger than what they actually are with a majority of the company located in Sydney. In reality they're quite small with family members working within key areas of the business.

Pros

- Beautiful views - Great talent acquisition - Monthly company lunch - Good people working there - Coworkers willing to help and guide new hires - Always paid on time - Friday drinks

Cons

- Most of the 5 star ratings are fake or staged. Xref deserves a 3/5. - While location is beautiful, it's not great if you're commuting, add 20 minutes to your usual city commute. - Poor work-life balance, they'll say that you have certain flexibility but in reality they'll judge you and imply that you should leave late, or take work home. - Experts at crushing motivations. If you join the company with expectations of developing your ideas and dreams, they'll soon be crushed by upper and mid management. You'll realise that decisions are taken on a whim with very little planning. Your expertise will simply not be considered but you'll be held accountable if something that concerns your position goes wrong. - Priorities change depending on CEO's mood (which is very volatile). - Disguising the truth is something CEO and the rest of C- levels are very good at. One day they'll tell employees that the company is successful and that numbers are up, while the next day they will lay off half of a team and don't tell anyone. - Upper management considers employees as lower class citizens that don't deserve their trust and therefore they feel like they need to micromanage.
