Pros
Family-like working environment with bare minimal politics and hardly any overtime required due to fixed and strictly enforced working hours
Cons
Double standards where Japanese employees are held with high regards albeit not having the required qualifications whilst expecting the local employees to possess the right qualifications and are lot lower compensated. Global directions are not enforced nor implemented despite the "localisation" policies. MDs basically run the companies as their own, favouring their own and hide behind the locals whenever issues surface. Definitely not a place to grow your career as the Company focuses on it's own systems and not keeping up with trends and knowledge in the market.
