Pros

First of all, I write this review because I saw another review from a "previous product engineer", I dont know who you are. But considering your opinions, I have to clarify it is not mine and I will write my own as a real product engineer. Secondly, the biggest different point with the other review is, I think HR is really good. She is taking a tremendously intense ridiculous job, which is far far more than a HR should do. If she can, she will give what you want. But most of time she cant make any decision, and people didn't realize this and put complaint on her. You can bother regular HR in regular company, but unfortunately ZYNP isn't a regular company and its HR isnt solely a HR. In that review, I saw "eating up words" and "picky". Like I said, it is not her decision. However, when you blame that on her, and throw a bad attitude towards her, how could you expect a positive feedback? Thirdly, the author of the other review maybe know me and even might be my friend. I have no offense to you, just to clarify my identity.

Cons

Here I have same thoughts as some of the other reviews. 1, Barely no technical activity. It is terrible for engineers to grow. 2, Company is small scale, and thus has to take a lot of boring, exhausting jobs, just as HR did. No work/life balance at all. 3, Too much secret. I understand secret is to keep company safe. But company should not utilize secret to against their employee. 4, Extremely bad communication with leader. No way to understand his point. Maybe I am stupid. 5, No holiday shut down during Christmas like other suppliers. Also you can't put all vocation days around Christmas Days in most cases. 6, Demands or feelings wont be taken care of 7, Please read my advice under

Thank you for taking the time to share your perspective. We appreciate your insights regarding the HR department and want to clarify that the HR person you referred to is no longer with the company. We recognize the hard work that HR does, required to go beyond what outsiders consider a "traditional" role, and taking on additional general management duties at this company. It's also important to note that the President or Owner you mentioned sold the company in 2019 and is no longer with the company. Since that time, management has undergone significant changes, and we have been actively improving our policies and procedures to create a better workplace for all employees. Work/life balance is a priority for management, and we are committed to ensuring that our employees feel supported in this area, including the flexibility to take vacation days when and how they need to. Additionally, the executive team are actively working to break down silos and facilitate better cross-departmental communication, ensuring that all employees feel connected and informed. We value your feedback as we strive to foster an environment where all team members can thrive. Thank you for being part of our journey.

Pros

ZYNP is a great company to work for, especially for those who are just starting out. Because it has a small team - around 30 employees excluding external workers in the warehouse - individual contributions will make a great impact on the company. You will be able to gain more experience in one position at ZYNP than at most any other company and especially big corporations. In addition there is also a lot of room for growth... Management will recognize and promote those who are hard working and dedicated to the company. Also contrary to previous review, one look at the company employees and you will see that there are people of all different shapes, sizes, and ethnicity working at ZYNP. No employee dresses inappropriately and the CEO makes a point not to involve himself in the personal lives of any employees. There is no discrimination made in terms of outer appearance. From first hand experience, I know that ZYNP looks only at talent, experience, and a good attitude when considering applicants.

Cons

ZYNP is a fast growing company because the CEO is always looking for ways to expand and puncture into new markets. However, at the beginning of its establishment, it had trouble hiring qualified candidates. This resulted in hiring in a few bad apples in the mix. I have heard stories about previous employees taking advantage of the access they had to the company. However the current team seems to have a strong ethical approach to the work.

Thank you for your thoughtful review of ZYNP! We’re thrilled to hear that you find ZYNP to be a great place to work, especially for those starting their careers. With our small team of around 40 employees, we truly value the individual contributions that each person brings to the table. It's rewarding to know that employees gain significant experience here, often more than they would in larger corporations, and we pride ourselves on providing ample opportunities for growth and advancement. We also appreciate your comments regarding our diverse workplace. ZYNP is committed to fostering an inclusive environment where talent, experience, and a positive attitude are the primary considerations in our hiring process. We understand the importance of maintaining professionalism and respect for all employees, and we strive to create a culture that reflects these values. While we acknowledge that the company has faced challenges in its growth journey, we are actively working to ensure that our team upholds strong ethical standards. We recognize that some negative feedback may come from individuals who may not align with our values, but we are dedicated to continuous improvement and believe that our current team reflects our commitment to integrity. Thank you for being a part of our journey, and we look forward to continuing to grow together at ZYNP!

Thank you for your feedback regarding your experience at ZYNP. We want to clarify that the warehouse manager you referred to from 2016 is no longer with the company. We recognize the crucial role our warehouse team plays in our overall operations, and their contributions are highly valued. While we understand your concerns about job security and hiring practices, we want to emphasize that we are committed to hiring from within our staffing workforce when positions become available. Many of our current warehouse employees started as temporary workers and have successfully been hired on as direct hire employees. As a staffing employee, ZYNP would not have offered benefits directly, and the health package you mentioned would have been from the staffing company, which is beyond our control. Staffing employees have the option to choose from various staffing agencies, each offering different benefits. Legally, ZYNP cannot provide benefits to employees of staffing companies. ZYNP's benefit package is very low priced and is a great benefits package. Regarding at-will employment, this is a Michigan state law that applies to all employees across the state, and ZYNP has no control over these state regulations or laws. We strive to provide a supportive work environment where all team members can thrive, regardless of the nature of their employment. Your feedback about management is important to us, and we are actively working to improve communication and support for all employees. Thank you for being a part of ZYNP, and we appreciate your insights as we continue to evolve and grow together.
