Unless you are an intern straight out of college there is no culture of learning for employees. Work-life balance is equal to any other start-up (24/7) but the direction of the company is not on the right path so it is better to find another job where you have a chance of being rewarded. Unfortunately the CEO verbally embarrasses employees for fun and doesn't listen to trusted employees. 100% of all decisions are made by one person which creates a very ineffective organization as senior management doesn't have ability to make the smallest decisions. The company changes company direction every few weeks so you can't accomplish anything substantial because of the changing direction; but the lowest level employees get blamed for the change of direction.
