Only thing I can think of is no bonus. Your salary is what you get.

While most of the management is busy in meetings throughout the day (in my opinion, no more than at any other company) I feel that they are still responsive. For example, my manager will respond to urgent emails and texts while in meetings and takes the time to meet with me throughout the week to touch bases. Zetec also strives to boost employee morale as much as possible, they bring in catered lunches, give gifts throughout the year, and support the employees on the weekend that are working overtime.
Cons
I feel that communication between departments could improve.

Zetec is the complete package when it comes to benefits and job atmosphere. Along with the standard benefits package (401K, health care, etc.) you get so much more! On site there is a game room, full kitchen, and a company gym. The location is surrounded by beautiful landscape, small shops, and restaurants that are walking distance for lunch breaks. The people are friendly and willing to help when needed. The leadership team is very accessible and interactive with people in the company. There is constant cross communication between different departments to complete tasks, I feel empowered to voice my opinion with upper management, and I really enjoy that even though Zetec is a large company they still maintain a small business vibe. At Zetec, I feel free to be myself and do my job in a fashion that I feel comfortable with.
Cons
As a Zetec employee it is common you will wear many hats at some point and sometimes it is too many. You’ll find yourself completing tasks outside of your expertise to get a job done. The work environment at Zetec doesn’t encourage too many company activities. There is a great holiday party and there are many events that are hosted but not too many participate or are too focused with work.

Zetec has a pretty good 401k match. Employees can buy Roper stock at a discount rate.
Cons
The management has no clear vision for the future of the company. Merit increases don't keep up with the cost of living. Regular layoffs for the last five years. When Roper bought the company they took away all the fringe benefits that made working a Zetec nice, they called it "plucking the low hanging fruit". I witnessed an employee physically drag a woman back to her desk. I saw a new employee bullied for over a year, he was laid off shortly after taking his complaints to HR. I overheard hateful comments about homosexuals.

Good people working with the tools we delivered. They are dedicated and interested in performing excellent, honest work.
Cons
There doesn't seem to be a future in the technology, simply put. The management struggled to perform, and there was no opportunity to advance.

I enjoy working at Zetec. I see an opportunity to grow in a collaborative and professional working environment. I feel my pay is fair and the benefits are above average (especially the company's 401k match). The location is beautiful, clean, and surrounded by beauty. Upper management is transparent and shares the good and the bad.
Cons
Meetings, Meetings, Meetings. It seems like all of upper management is always in meetings.
