1. The application and interview process was pretty normal, and what you'd expect out of most companies. After I got the job, I asked to start at a later date but they were not accommodating at all to my request and even made my request seem "absurd."
2. They lied about hiring me as a marketing associate, and lied about wanting to develop my marketing skills: they are strictly a sales company, and only care about having you sell Staples products to people who mostly don't want to see your face.
3. As I mentioned before, you don't spend much time at all at the office. In fact, you only spend a half hour to 45 minutes in the office listening to some cult-like pep talk before being ferried off to a neighboring county in your state. Here, you'll travel along with a salesman or saleswoman at one rank higher and they'll introduce you to a myriad of people that hate them. You'll end up harassing 20-30 people each day who don't want you to bother them at work asking them to buy reams of paper or a new printer.
4. At the end of your first several days, you will realize close to nobody you interact with actually wants to see your face.
