Pros

Nice office, great location in the heart of Burbank, walking distance from stores and restaurants, free street parking

Cons

Highly unorganized Screamfest and abusive/aggressive language from management to employees on a daily basis, a lot of employees broke down in tears more than a few times Employees are scared to state their opinion or say anything at all, it is like walking on eggshells the whole day Huge turnover of people in very short amounts of time Management does not tell the truth to employees about status of the company Employees had to fight their right to have their lawful break of 10 minutes in the morning and afternoon (according to California state law) Salary employees had to fight for their right of having their 2 days christmas holiday break paid Management even screams if there is no more beans for the coffee machine and use an inappropriate language (F word used very often and also the store is literally next door) Management never thanks or motivate his employees beside threatening to fire them Management does not understand that a company can only improve and progress if employees are happy and frequent turnovers are never good in the matter of developing a business and keep clients satisfied Hours are supposedly 8 to 5 but Management gets nervous and angry when people actually leave on time so you feel always obligated to leave later close to 5.30 or even 6PM, totally make sense if you work on projects and have deadlines, but it is not right to ask your employees to stay late everyday and not compensate them Management has completely non realistic expectations and does not take the time to train correctly the new project managers - for a small company the turnover of people in such short amount of time is impressive (people quit) Put out ads for Project Coordinator positions but they are expected to be 100% project managers meaning way more responsibilities and pressure than the original ad out there is for There is never any get together with employees Management change his mind all the time meaning you can never really know if you are in the right or in the wrong, and then expects you to read his mind, it not screamfest again No written contract at all, healthcare is just ok, no 401K (make sure to know what you get before starting) Make interns write fake satisfaction reviews on Glassdoor Life is short, opportunities are endless. Do never think you can not do better than what you are doing at the moment. There are tons of companies out there where employees are respected and treated well. Don’t settle for less. Employees have rights, and they certainly have the right to be treated well, talked well to and respected. I would avoid at all cost, this company/vibe is causing way too much emotional damage to anyone who works, or has worked there.

Pros

Dtank is in a pretty cool location, there are some restaurants within walking distance which is nice. The projects are fun.

Cons

It could be a good company if it wasn't for the constant abuse from the owner. He doesn't let employees do their jobs and he has unrealistic expectations. There is a huge turnover, most employees have been there for 1 year at the most. Employees work really hard under unrealistic expectations and do a pretty good job at it considering the tools given, yet we are screamed at on a daily basis for the minimum most insignificant stuff. No matter how much you do or how hard you work it is never enough. Communication is not encouraged in this place, on the contrary you are advised never to talk back to owner when he is screaming at you, even if you want to explain him anything as this can set him off and make him go crazy-er on you. He does not respect or appreciate his employees.

Pros

Very interesting projects and given the ability to work on all aspects of the process. Have direct access to clients and vendors and given some freedom to create designs that met the clients needs

Cons

No work life balance. Was expected to work 10 hour days, even if there wasn't enough work. Management did not treat the staff very well and sometimes was borderline abusive in the way they treated people.
