Pros

You get to learn really cool stuff about India's Digital Eco-system and that's honestly the only thing that's pro here.

Cons

No work/life balance You are constantly under-appreciated Initially, I had a positive experience at Digio, but the environment changed significantly when we faced typical startup challenges. The workplace culture deteriorated under pressure, and there's considerable disorganization regarding product direction. Many completed development projects never reach production due to frequently shifting priorities after completion. Leadership demonstrates overconfidence in their product vision despite evidence suggesting otherwise. Their decision-making often doesn't align with market needs. Digio enjoyed early success as a first mover in the Esign space, but growth has noticeably slowed as competitors have entered the market. Several prominent Indian companies have moved away from Digio's services as the company struggled to evolve its product design to meet contemporary standards.

Too much talk, too little listening

Pros

Compensation and benefits aligned with the market. Work-hours are respected. No discrimination.

Cons

A lot of soft skills "training" meetings that add nothing, with lazy metaphors and obvious conclusions. A lot of "planning" and strategic meetings that have no effect. Each meeting had different tools, stickers, collaboration methods, templates to fill, pros and cons to address. And I am still waiting to see the Excel file that the my manager will make with the contents of the first of these meetings that happened years ago. All of the problems pointed and ideas suggested were never the priorities. All tasks were decided exclusively by the manager. Since these meetings were open and free to share opinions, the overall feeling is that the team is collaborative, but this is not true. Only minor aspects of your routine you can have a say. The only person that truly watch our daily work is a supervisor which opinions about the employees are ignored by the manager. He is present in daily meetings to provide help and see our development. The manager appears on these meetings only eventually.
